For exterior walls exposed to strong sunlight and large day-night temperature differences, continuous thermal swing is the core threat. Frequent heating and cooling causes cyclic expansion and contraction, which gradually leads to coating cracking, warping and loss of adhesion on masonry, concrete and metal substrates.

AG Aerogel Heat Reflective Topcoat delivers solar reflectance ≥ 0.65 and hemispherical emissivity ≥ 0.85. It sharply reduces surface temperature rise and stabilizes the thermal state of the substrate, weakening the accumulation of thermal stress over time. Rather than repairing cracks after formation, this Topcoat proactively suppresses the root cause of thermal fatigue and deformation.

Blocking Water Ingress for Substrate Protection

Moisture penetration is a major cause of premature failure for exterior walls and coatings. Water seepage leads to alkali efflorescence, blistering, peeling and structural deterioration, especially on porous cement and concrete surfaces. 

AG Aerogel Heat Reflective Topcoat forms a continuous, flexible waterproof film that seals the substrate surface. It passes 96h water resistance test with no abnormality and provides reliable barrier against rain and humidity. By cutting off moisture access, it prevents alkali damage, coating detachment and substrate erosion, keeping the whole structure dry and stable in humid and rainy regions.

Built for Long-Term Outdoor Durability

Conventional exterior coatings gradually degrade under UV radiation, showing chalking, discoloration, dirt pickup and loss of performance after long-term exposure.

AG Aerogel Heat Reflective Topcoat features outstanding weatherability and stability: dirt resistance as low as 9.2%, scrub resistance ≥ 2000 cycles, and 600h artificial weathering without blistering, peeling or cracking. It retains high color retention and film integrity, resisting aging, staining and weathering for years.

Simplifying Exterior Coating Application

Traditional exterior systems often require separate layers for insulation, waterproofing and anti-cracking, raising material costs and construction complexity.

AG Aerogel Heat Reflective Topcoat integrates heat reflection, elastic anti-cracking, waterproofing, alkali resistance and anti-dirt into one single coating system. It can be diluted with 10% clean water (not for color topcoat) and applied by roller or spray, with recoat interval as short as 4 hours at 25–35℃.This all-in-one design streamlines construction and improves efficiency for large-scale building projects.
