AG-CJZ aerogel coating redefines the performance limit of thin-layer thermal insulation materials. 


With the unique nanoporous structure of silica aerogel materials, the 2 mm coating achieves thermal insulation performance comparable to 20 mm traditional rock wool while significantly reducing insulation thickness and weight.


With an ultra-low thermal conductivity of ≤0.035-0.044 W/(m·K) at 25℃, it creates a 4-6℃ indoor temperature difference in buildings compared to uncoated surfaces under summer high-temperature conditions, it drastically reduces air conditioning running time and load, cutting cooling energy consumption by up to 40% for long-term use.

Superior Hydrophobicity for Long-Lasting Moisture and Mildew Resistance

AG-CJZ Aerogel Coating features hydrophobic aerogel, delivering excellent water repellency while maintaining breathability of the wall. So the coating surface forms a lotus leaf effect, with no water hanging or penetration.


It effectively preventing wall seepage and damp return, which eliminates the humid environment required for mold growth from the root, achieving long-lasting mildew and algae resistance, extending the service life of the building wall by more than 3 times.

    How does AG-C Aerogel Midcoat compare to thermal insulation mortar or other traditional material?

    AG-C aerogel coating applied at a thickness of 2 mm achieves a hot box tested thermal resistance of 0.21-0.36 m²·K/W, while traditional insulation mortar installed at 20 mm only delivers a thermal resistance of approximately 0.10 m²·K/W. From a comprehensive perspective, aerogel coating offers more significant advantages over traditional materials.

Its nanoporous aerogel structure reduces stress from expansion and contraction, helping the coating maintain adhesion under normal conditions, without relying on excessive thickness.
