AG-F Aerogel Thermal Insulation Blanket delivers optimal thermal insulation performance and energy-saving value at temperatures up to 650℃/950℃. it features ultra-low thermal conductivity and is 75% thinner than conventional insulation materials. This makes it ideal for narrow spaces and areas prone to mechanical impact, enabling faster and easier installation while saving time and costs. It is a premium thermal insulation solution for industrial equipment pipelines, storage tanks, building insulation, as well as fire and heat insulation in automotive and rail transit applications.
Ultra-low thermal conductivity (as low as ≤0.017 W/(m·K) @25℃) outperforms traditional insulation materials, effectively reducing heat loss.
Wide temperature adaptability, with maximum operating temperatures of 650℃ or 950℃, ensuring stable performance across diverse working conditions.
Thin profile optimizes space utilization, reducing material consumption and transportation costs significantly.
Exceptional durability with a service life of over 20 years, minimizing replacement and maintenance expenses for long-term cost savings.
Excellent flexibility and easy to cut, perfectly fitting complex shapes, small-diameter pipelines, valves, and fittings for hassle-free installation.
Superior water repellency (99.5%) and minimal water absorption (≤0.20%), resisting moisture, vibration (mass loss ≤0.1%-1% depending on model), and effectively preventing corrosion under insulation (CUI) on stainless steel surfaces.
Class A1 non-combustible rating, meeting fire safety requirements for sensitive environments.
Safe and eco-friendly, featuring waterproof and breathable properties without harmful substances, fully compliant with relevant national standards.
Thermal insulation for prefabricated insulation pipes, storage tanks, and containers.
Insulation for steam pipelines in oil extraction, as well as pipelines in thermal power plants, petrochemical plants, and chemical factories.
Fire and heat insulation for high-speed trains, subway car bodies, and new energy vehicles.
Energy-saving and fire-resistant insulation for buildings and industrial facilities.
Note: This product can be cut and prefabricated into pipe shells or cladded with aluminum foil based on project specifications.

Joints between aerogel blankets are unavoidable, and if not properly treated, they can create thermal bridges, leading to significant local heat loss. To address this, it is recommended to use AG-N Aerogel Adhesive, specifically designed for bonding aerogel blankets and ensuring continuous insulation.
Aerogel blanket has an ultra-high intrinsic hydrophobicity, with a volume water repellency of up to 99.6%. Unlike conventional insulation materials, which achieve water repellency only by surface coating and often lose effectiveness over time, aerogel felt’s hydrophobic properties are inherent throughout the material, providing long-term and reliable waterproofing.
The service life of aerogel blankets has been estimated to exceed 15 years based on accelerated aging tests using the Arrhenius model. In addition, aerogel blankets from Aspen Aerogels, established in 2001, have been in use for over 15 years without any reported durability or performance issues, demonstrating the long-term reliability of this material.
Aerogel blankets are colored due to the addition of opacifiers, which help reduce radiative heat transfer at high temperatures, enhancing the thermal insulation performance of the material.
Aerogel blankets are primarily composed of silica aerogel, with a substrate of glass fiber or ceramic fiber. They do not contain toxic or hazardous substances and are considered environmentally friendly and safe for use.
