GJN aerogel blanket is a self-developed aerogel insulation blanket made by integrating silica aerogel with ultra-thin glass fibers via AG-Tech's independent innovative nano-composite technology. Featuring low thermal conductivity, excellent flexibility, eco-toxicity-free property, Class A non-combustibility, and easy installation, it delivers 80% of aerogel insulation performance at only 50% of the cost. It excels in pipelines where Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) is prone to occur at temperatures below 300℃, as well as small-diameter pipelines, valves and fittings, offering high cost-effectiveness. This product, like AG-F aerogel thermal insulation product, can also be prefabricated into pipe shells or cladding with aluminium foil.
Core Advantages
Low conductivity: Outperforms aluminum silicate, glass wool, and rock wool in average thermal conductivity at operational temperatures.
Temperature resilience: GJN withstands up to 300°C
Thinner profiles: Reduces material usage by 40% compared to aluminum silicate, optimizing space and transportation costs.
Lower initial investment: More affordable than ordinary aerogel blankets while maintaining comparable performance.
Installation & Durability
Flexible and easy to cut: Can be tailored to fit complex shapes, pipes, and irregular surfaces.
Longevity: Resists moisture, vibration (mass loss ≤0.5%), and thermal degradation, with a service life of 10+ years.
Safety & Compliance
Fireproof: Meets Class A non-combustible standards, suitable for fire-sensitive environments.
Eco-friendly: Free of chlorides, fluorides, and VOCs, compliant with international safety regulations.
Applications
Insulation for steam pipelines, storage tanks, and reactors in oil & gas, petrochemical, and power plants.
Pre-fabricated pipe shells (20–70mm thickness, DN25–500mm diameter) for efficient thermal management.

1. GJN blankets are more cost-effective.
2. Containing aerogel, they provide comparable hydrophobicity.
3. Their thermal conductivity is slightly higher than conventional aerogel blankets, but still much better than traditional insulation materials.
4. Hydrophobic properties make them suitable for pipe insulation below 300 °C and CUI (corrosion under insulation) prevention.
1. GJN aerogel blankets are a more cost-effective choice for applications requiring insulation below 300 °C and hydrophobic performance.
2. They are ideal where both thermal insulation and moisture resistance are needed.
Produced using Shenzhen Aerogel's proprietary secondary composite technology.
Aerogel is integrated into the substrate via needle-punching process, achieving lower thermal conductivity and high hydrophobicity.
