10mm Aerogel Insulation Blanket for High-Temperature Pipeline Renovation

In this case, some pipelines carried media with temperatures up to 650℃ during operation. Heat dissipation through pipeline walls caused energy waste, increased production costs, and posed risks to the surrounding environment and equipment safety, such as potential scald hazards to workers and adverse impacts on adjacent equipment operation. Thus, urgent insulation renovation was needed to control the outer wall temperature and heat loss. The project met customer requirements after adopting our 10mm-thick aerogel insulation blankets for renovation. The outer wall temperature was stably controlled within ≤50℃, providing a safe working environment for workers and avoiding thermal impacts on surrounding equipment. Additionally, the maximum heat loss was ≤200W/㎡, effectively reducing energy consumption and improving the enterprise's economic benefits and energy utilization efficiency.
