Premium Insulation Solution for CR400BF: AG-F Aerogel Boosts EMU Efficiency

As a world-leading rail transit giant, China CRRC launched the AG-F Aerogel Felt application project for CR400BF intelligent EMUs in Beijing in September 2022. The pantograph flat roof and end wall areas adopt composite thermal-insulation materials combining AG-F Aerogel Felt, glass fiber wool and sound insulation felt. The underframe fireproof layer consists of AG-F Aerogel Felt and fiberglass cloth. This aerogel integration greatly improves the EMU’s thermal insulation, heat retention and noise reduction performance, drastically cuts heat dissipation loss, and delivers remarkable energy-saving effects. It elevates the EMU’s operational efficiency, riding comfort and safety, meeting high-speed rail’s strict performance and environmental standards.
