AG-F Aerogel Insulation blanket for S1 Steam Pipeline Upgrade

In 2023, an energy and chemical enterprise in Yulin, Shaanxi carried out the S1 steam pipeline insulation renovation project. The original 200 to 250mm aluminum silicate insulation degraded quickly after long-term operation, causing large steam temperature drop and severe heat loss. The renovation adopted 10mm aluminum silicate combined with 80mm indoor and 90mm outdoor AG-F aerogel insulation felt. Test data showed that when the ambient temperature was no more than 25℃, the outer surface temperature of the pipeline was below 40℃. The actual kilometer temperature drop was 9.14℃ per km, which was better than the 12.8℃ per km assessment standard, effectively ensuring steam quality and reducing energy loss.
