AG-F Aerogel Blanket Drives Thin-Film Insulation Breakthrough for Passive Prefabricated Residences

This project focuses on thermal insulation construction for steel components and irregular wall areas in ultra-low energy passive prefabricated residences, located in Datong International Energy Revolution Sci-Tech Innovation Park and completed in July 2022. The original plan adopted 250mm thick graphite polystyrene board with 120KG/m³ bulk density. The optimized scheme replaces it with 110mm thick AG-F Aerogel Blanket. This adjustment cuts insulation layer thickness by over half while ensuring consistent thermal insulation performance. AG-F Aerogel Blanket fits irregular structural parts better than traditional materials, reduces building space occupation, and meets strict energy-saving standards of passive ultra-low energy buildings, providing a practical high-efficiency insulation option for prefabricated residential construction.
