Aerogel Insulation Blanket Composite Aluminum Silicate for Power Plant Pipeline Thermal Insulation

In this case, our client carried out thermal insulation renovation on the main and reheat steam pipelines of Unit 1. The project addressed the problems of excessive thickness and short service life of traditional aluminum silicate insulation. With the main steam temperature at 571℃ and reheat steam temperature at 569℃, aerogel pipe shells were adopted. Both the main and reheat steam pipelines had an insulation thickness of 110mm, with 1mm thick metal color steel plates as external protection. Specific pipeline specifications: Main steam pipelines - ID375×77.5 (length 104.262m, 10 elbows) and ID450×92.5 (length 137.724m, 8 elbows); Reheat steam pipelines - ID700×30 (length 145.696m, 8 elbows) and ID980×40 (length 143.312m, 9 elbows). The aerogel solution effectively optimized the insulation effect, laying a solid foundation for the stable and efficient operation of Unit 1.
