2mm Aerogel Insulation Coating for Classroom Cooling Case Study

Aerogel insulation coatings are widely used in building thermal insulation to reduce heat transfer and improve indoor comfort. In this project, a 2 mm aerogel insulation coating was applied to classroom walls of a primary school to enhance summer thermal performance. After application, indoor temperatures were reduced by approximately 4°C, significantly improving learning conditions while reducing cooling energy demand.
