Green Retrofit for Underground Art Storage with Aerogel Coating

Located in Jiangsu, this underground art storage warehouse energy retrofit finished in December 2022, covering 500 ㎡ of interior walls. The project applied a two-layer coating system: multi-functional primer with AG-C aerogel thermal insulation middle coat, specially designed for underground building walls. On-site tests proved excellent thermal insulation, flame retardancy and waterproof performance, solving environmental control problems of underground storage. The solution fully meets strict artwork storage standards, gaining high client satisfaction. This real project validates AG-C aerogel coating’s great efficiency and adaptability for underground cultural storage energy-saving retrofits.
