9.6°C Tank Temperature Reduction: AG-C Coating Retrofit for Oil Storage in North China

In July 2020, an oil depot in northern China completed a thermal insulation retrofit on a 1,280 m² oil tank using AG-C aerogel insulating coating system. The project targeted existing storage infrastructure to reduce heat ingress and stabilize internal temperatures. Post-application monitoring recorded a 9.6°C drop in tank interior temperature, directly cutting cooling energy consumption and mitigating product volatility risks. This field case validates AG-C’s ability to deliver consistent thermal control for critical oil storage assets, aligning with industrial energy efficiency goals.
