Aerogel Blanket Insulation for the Preheating Furnace System

In February 2021, we carried out insulation and energy-saving renovations on the preheating furnace system of clients. For the tertiary air ducts, decomposition furnace, pre-combustion furnace and five-stage cyclone cylinder parts of the preheating furnace system, aerogel insulation blanket is used instead of traditional thermal insulation materials. The thickness of the calcium silicate board originally used was 80 to 100mm. After adopting the aerogel insulation blanket, the thickness became 40mm, increasing the effective volume inside the furnace and simultaneously improving the process conditions of the system.
