AG-CGT Aerogel Coating for Vessel Insulation

In 2022, a material enterprise in Shanxi adopted AG-CGT aerogel insulation coating for the insulation of pipelines, equipment and vessels in its Phase I project. The raw material tank farm used 2mm AG-CGT aerogel insulation coating for one storage tank, while another tank used 7cm rock wool for comparison. Over a week, the medium temperature in the rock wool insulated tank was always higher than that in the aerogel insulated tank, with a maximum daily temperature difference of about 15℃. It effectively solved the problem of excessive temperature accumulation in summer and reduced spray cooling measures.
