In October 2024, a petrochemical enterprise in Nanjing applied AG-C aerogel insulation coating on liquefied gas pipelines in its storage and transportation plant. The coating was adopted for thermal insulation and anti-condensation retrofit. After application, the pipelines’ surface temperature difference with ambient air was significantly reduced, and condensation water formation caused by low-temperature liquefied gas was completely avoided. This effectively protected pipeline integrity, lowered corrosion risks, and ensured safe and stable operation of the liquefied gas storage and transportation system, fully demonstrating AG-C coating’s outstanding thermal insulation and anti-condensation performance.
