Aerogel Insulation Blanket for Xiantao Power Plant Pipeline Thermal Insulation

For the main steam pipelines, high-temperature reheat main pipelines, and bypass system pipelines in the turbine room of China Resources Xiantao Power Plant Project, the original design adopted aluminum silicate cotton + glass wool for thermal insulation with a thickness of nearly 300mm. Due to the excessive insulation thickness, the owner chose a more efficient insulation design using aerogel insulation blanket composite aluminum silicate. This upgrade reduced the insulation thickness to one-third of the original design. Meanwhile, it achieved lower pipeline heat loss and better energy-saving performance, providing reliable support for the efficient operation of the power plant.
