Aerogel Insulation Blanket for Pressure Regulating Station Pipeline Thermal Insulation

Client's Pressure Regulating Station lacked insulation for pipelines, valves and flanges, causing massive heat loss with medium temperature up to 130℃ and excessive working environment temperature. AG Tech's AG-F650 aerogel insulation blanket was adopted for water supply pipelines and valve flanges, with tailored thicknesses based on medium temperature and pipe diameter: 40mm or 30mm for 130℃ pipelines and 20mm for 70℃ ones. Compared to aluminum silicate, AG-F650 reduced main insulation material consumption, lowered surface temperature remarkably and cut heat loss drastically, achieving energy savings rate up to 50.6% and annual energy savings of 856.706GJ. During full-load unit operation, the surface temperature after insulation dropped from 60℃ to 49℃, fully meeting strict technical requirements.
