AG-F Aerogel Insulation Blanket for Steam Pipeline Thermal Insualtion

In Xinjiang, an energy chemical enterprise conducted 5-section insulation performance tests on steam pipelines with varying pressures, temperatures and diameters. Compared with traditional aluminum silicate and rock wool, AG-F aerogel insulation felt reduced surface temperature by 3 to 9℃, cut average heat loss by 43.98% per meter, and reduced insulation thickness by an average of 24%. The 9.8MPa main steam pipe achieved a 33% thickness reduction. With a service life of over 15 years, 3 to 5 times longer than traditional materials, and 99.9% hydrophobicity to prevent corrosion, it also enabled easy reuse during maintenance. The annual energy saving per 1km pipeline reached approximately 121,000 USD for 530mm pipes and 59,000 USD for 273mm pipes, delivering significant energy conservation and cost reduction.
