Aerogel Insulation Blanket for Steam Pipeline Insulation

In this case, the original aluminum silicate rock wool insulation for power area steam pipelines suffered collapse, severe heat loss, excessive heat flux density, and higher steam consumption after long-term use. Five test sections in the thermal power center and purification workshop were selected for performance comparison between our aerogel insulation blanket and traditional materials. Test results: Aerogel blanket reduced surface temperature by 3-9℃ and heat loss significantly, with drastically reduced insulation thickness. Average energy-saving efficiency per meter reached 43.98%, with remarkable annual benefits for 1km pipelines. Key advantages: 15+ year service life, 99.9% hydrophobicity, strong structural stability, eco-friendliness, and lower storage/logistics costs due to less material usage.
