Nanjing Petrochemical Refinery Upgrade with AG-F Aerogel Blanket

In June 2023, a petrochemical enterprise in Nanjing adopted 60mm S-grade AG-F aerogel insulation felt and aerogel pipe shells for the high-pressure steam pipeline renovation of its refinery restructuring project. The main pipeline is DN500 with a length of 3 to 4 km, transporting 420℃ high-pressure steam. A total of 334.291m³ AG-F aerogel insulation felt and 36.938m³ aerogel pipe shells were used. The application achieved good insulation effect, extended the insulation cycle multiple times and reduced energy loss, effectively ensuring the stable operation of the refinery restructuring project.
