AG-C Aerogel Coating Stops Condensation on EOEG Scrubber

In December 2024, a petrochemical enterprise in East China applied AG-C aerogel insulation coating on its EOEG ethylene oxide tail gas scrubber. The scrubber’s internal medium runs at 24℃, and the lack of thermal insulation led to a large temperature gap between the tower wall and ambient air, causing frequent summer condensation. After the retrofit, AG-C coating effectively balanced the temperature difference, completely eliminated summer condensation, and reduced equipment corrosion risks. This solution ensured stable operation of the tail gas treatment system, highlighting the product’s strong anti-condensation and thermal insulation advantages.
