Chenzhou Aerogel Coating: 12℃ Outdoor Cabinet Cooling

For this pilot (August 2020, Chenzhou: 26–38℃ ambient temperature, peaking at 38℃), we tested AG-C aerogel coating for outdoor cabinet thermal insulation: Compared to the uncoated cabinet, the aerogel coated cabinet saw a maximum surface temperature reduction of 12℃ (at the cabinet top)—effectively blocking heat buildup from direct sunlight. The Aerogel coated cabinet stayed steadily within a safe 28–33℃ range. By contrast, the uncoated cabinet, even in an unoccupied area exceeded 35℃ and triggered high-temperature alarms. This pilot proves that aerogel coating provides strong thermal insulation, directly shielding outdoor cabinets from overheating risks.
