6.3°C Warehouse Cooling: AG-C Coating Retrofit for Grain Storage

In August 2020, a grain depot in northern China carried out a retrofitting project on a 6,562 m² single-story warehouse, adopting AG-C aerogel insulating coating system. The project aimed to optimize thermal insulation for stored grain by reducing heat transfer. After application, on-site monitoring showed a 6.3°C drop in warehouse interior temperature, effectively stabilizing grain storage conditions, lowering energy consumption for temperature control, and extending the service life of stored goods. This large-scale application proves AG-C’s reliable thermal performance in industrial grain storage scenarios.
