AG-F Aerogel Insulation Solution for 650℃ Process Pipelines in Petrochemical Plant

In 2023, a major petrochemical enterprise in Huizhou carried out insulation retrofit for high-temperature process pipelines. Medium temperature inside these pipelines reached up to 650℃, causing serious heat loss, higher operating costs and potential safety risks for on-site workers and nearby equipment. The project adopted 10mm AG-F aerogel insulation blanket for thermal insulation improvement. After renovation, the outer surface temperature of pipelines was stably controlled below 50℃, creating a safer working environment. Maximum heat loss was limited to no more than 200W/㎡, which greatly reduced energy consumption and improved overall energy efficiency. This solution supported the enterprise’s goals on energy conservation, emission reduction and safe production.
