Thermal Control for Grain Storage: AG-C Insulating Coating Delivers 4.2°C Cooling in Pingding Depot

In August 2020, a grain depot in Pingding, North China, finished a renovation project on a 1,000 m² single-story warehouse, applying AG-C aerogel insulating coating system. The project aimed to upgrade outdated insulation to stabilize internal temperatures for grain preservation. On-site monitoring after application showed a 4.2°C drop in warehouse interior temperature, effectively reducing heat penetration, lowering risks of grain quality loss, and cutting energy consumption for temperature management. This application proves AG-C aerogel coating’s effective thermal performance in small-to-medium grain storage facility retrofits.
