AG-F Aerogel Felt & AG-C Coating Create a Demonstration Project for Power Plant Insulation

In Qingdao, a power generation enterprise upgraded insulation for steam pipelines and low-pressure cylinders during maintenance, as the original insulation failed with large heat loss. 400㎡ steam pipelines used 80mm thick AG-F aerogel insulation felt, and 120㎡ low-pressure cylinders adopted AG-C aerogel high-temperature coating with anti-aging wear-resistant coating. Tests showed pipeline surface temperature was around 50℃ with 540℃ internal steam, and low-pressure cylinder surface 33.7℃ with 85℃ internal temperature. Compared with original insulation, AG-F reduced thickness by over 50cm, showing excellent space-saving and energy-saving advantages, and gained high recognition.
