Qingdao Power Generation Pipeline Thermal Insulation

The original thermal insulation materials of the steam pipelines and high-low pressure cylinders ihad partially failed after long-term operation, resulting in significant heat loss and a sharp decline in insulation performance. Seizing the key maintenance period of the power plant, we actively contacted and reached cooperation with the client.After completion, joint measurements by our technical personnel and those from the turbine workshop of client showed excellent results: the surface temperature of the insulated pipelines was about 50℃ (internal steam temperature 540℃, ambient temperature 31℃); the surface temperature of the low-pressure cylinders was 33.7℃ (internal cylinder temperature 85℃, ambient temperature 32.9℃). Compared with the original aluminum silicate insulation, the thickness of the aerogel insulation layer was reduced by more than 50cm, highlighting the obvious space-saving advantage of aerogel insulation blankets.
