Logistics Warehouse Aerogel Coating Renovation

In October 2023, a grain depot in Wuhan, Central China, completed a renovation project on a 3,000 m² single-story warehouse. This project targets the high humidity and high heat climate in the Yangtze River Basin of Wuhan. The uninsulated logistics warehouse faced severe summer high temperature, rainy season condensation, and goods mildew issues, leading to high cargo loss and cooling energy consumption.We adopted moisture-proof AG-C aerogel thermal insulation coating on the warehouse roof and walls. After the retrofit, the summer warehouse temperature was reduced by 8-10℃, relative humidity was reduced by 40%, condensation and goods mildew loss were reduced to 0, and air conditioning energy consumption was reduced by 35%.
