30% Energy Saving for Xuchang Depot

In September 2020, a grain depot in Xuchang, Central China, completed a renovation project on a 5,600 m² single-story warehouse, adopting a combined system of AG-C aerogel insulating coating and AG-FS waterproof thermal insulation membrane. This project targets the dual core pain points of thermal insulation and waterproofing for Xuchang Sinograin Branch Warehouse. The original single-layer waterproof layer failed to block summer heat, leading to silo condensation, grain mildew risk, and excessive air conditioning energy consumption. We adopted AG-FS aerogel waterproof and heat insulation membrane for one-stop integrated renovation, with no damage to the original warehouse structure.After the retrofit, the warehouse achieved a 30% reduction in air conditioning energy consumption, completely eliminated silo condensation and grain mildew issues.
