5.5°C Warehouse Cooling: AG-C Coating Retrofit for Grain Storage in Yuncheng

In August 2020, a grain depot in Yuncheng, Shanxi Province, completed a renovation project on a 6,562 m² single-story warehouse, deploying AG-C aerogel insulating coating system. The project targeted outdated thermal insulation to stabilize internal temperatures for grain preservation. Post-application monitoring recorded a 5.5°C drop in warehouse interior temperature, effectively reducing heat ingress, minimizing grain quality degradation risks, and cutting energy costs for temperature control. This field application demonstrates AG-C aerogel coating’s reliable performance in large-scale industrial grain storage infrastructure retrofits in North China.
