Yutong New Energy Bus Fleet Fire Safety: AG-F Aerogel Blanket Delivering 30-Minute Flame Resistance Since 2017

Since 2017, Yutong new energy buses have deployed our 5mm AG-F Aerogel Blanket for battery compartment and passenger area fire isolation, making this one of China's longest-running large-scale aerogel applications in commercial EV manufacturing. Regulatory requirements demand that insulation barriers withstand direct flame exposure long enough for complete passenger evacuation under real emergency conditions. AG-F Aerogel Blanket blocks lithium battery combustion flames exceeding 800°C for over 30 minutes, preventing the composite board above the battery compartment from igniting rapidly. This sustained performance provides the evacuation time margin required by safety regulations and real-world emergency scenarios. The blanket features self-adhesive backing with nail fixation for stable long-term installation under commercial bus vibration conditions. Stable monthly procurement volumes of approximately 420,000 USD reflect consistent large-scale adoption across Yutong's production lines, validating both technical reliability and supply chain capacity at commercial manufacturing scale.
